Default C0bra’s 1.9 wraith with capra axles

When I first saw the 1.9 wraith at my lhs I knew I was going to get one, however I wasn’t getting a ready to replace. So I didn’t pull the trigger but I’ve had an itch to build a capra axled wraith for a little bit and decided to dust off (literally) a stock 2.2 wraith cage and convert it to a 1.9. Now the cage is converted except it still needs the grill which supposedly comes with the stock body, so let’s see. Unfortunately the stock body won’t be here until later this month according to horizon.

Anyways enough about the chassis, for axles I stole them from my 10.3 that’s also being built currently, and ordered the parts to convert them to capra axles with some needed upgrades.

The rest of the truck is going to be proline pro spec shocks (I think), incision 12” links and driveshafts with a built transmission with parts from everyone.

The rest of the build has yet to be decided.

Will post pics as soon as the cp44 axles and knuckles arrive.

Interested to see this

I can confirm the body does include the grill and all the other molded parts, I have one on hand.

Here's a link to a few free and cheap mods I think every Wraith 1.9 could use (Rear bumper and body trim) Wraith 1.9 Build: rear bumper and other mods

I did see the thread and I do plan on doing those mods as well. Just need to get my printer (ender 3 pro) set up for petg before I print the bumper. I don’t think pla will work. I do plan on also modifying the bumper for the sway bar.

The bp chassis brace will be on its way as soon as it’s it stock at amain.

Not sure if wheelbase is correct, but the link set is an incision 12” wheelbase kit with the links adjusted for better pinion angles. The pan hard and steering links are not on.

Axles are supershafty cp44 axles in black, with silver aluminum supershafty knuckles. Other than that the axles are stock except vanquish shafts in the rear.

Wheels and tires are on order thanks to humboltdts

The parts are in!

The wheels and tires I ordered are 1.9 pitbull ryno wheels and 1.55 pitbull growlers. Unfortunately the growlers don’t mount very easily, which I’m sure has to do with them being 1.55. Anyways I found 2 sets of 4.19 hyrax in stock and placed the order.

The wheels don’t look like they will fit with a normal hex, however I did get the ssd capra hexs.

Also the bp chassis brace is in along with 2 sets of capra steering links

Interested to see this come together. I was this close to getting a 1.9 wraith but talked myself out of it. It’s a great looking truck though.

I will definitely keep an eye on this one. I have an OG wraith with portals in the works also.

I did a tummy tuck on mine. Current plan is a 3D printed LCG skid and SCX10 iii portals.
