I just updated my first post with this info:

Another VERY important thing not to miss during the build is the installation of the rear axle plate (AX30559). Without this plate installed with the correct hardware the main support of the 5x8 bearing for the final gears is compromised. Immediate failure of the gears will occur without the hardware and rear axle plate installed! Please dont skip this step

Kinda lame one but, if you get some strc middle or 2/3 30 deg. Bent links for the war, it will push the wheelbase to 12.5 and you can slide the stock plastic covers over the links, bend and all, to keep it slippery!

Default Another step 23 tip

Pay close attention to the order of the screws used when mounting the rear axle plate (AX30559)!!!

You must use screw AXA465 in the specified location. If you use a screw that is any longer, the screw will protrude into the axle housing and the 5x8 bearing for the final gear will not be able to seat in all the way.

You can see the hole where the screw came into the bearing seat in this picture:

Exactly! I had mine put together right the first time. When I tore it apart to check on the noises in the axle, I didn't pay close enough attention to re-assembly.

Default Titanium Bent Lower Links

I have found that 4mm Revo rod ends on lower links are almost bullet proof.

For the lower links I am using Lunsford TI rock grinders.

The fronts are 125mm with a 30* bend in the front to accommodate the horizontal link mount unique to the front axle. They are bent 30*+ at the main bend. (The rod end that mounts to the axle had to be shaved a little to fit.) Total i2i = 137mm

The rears are 130mm bent 45* at the main bend. I also added the 30* lower bend here as well so it ramps up at the motor better. Total i2i = 137mm
Wheelbase is exactly 12.5" measured per USRCCA rules.

I also made a new electronics tray to get everything as low as possible.

I had to grind my electronic tray a little more due to the extreme bend in the rear links pushing them up further.

I really like the stance and it's breaking over things it was hanging up on with ease now.
