the roof is right next to the balcony, though. I´m talking about the rig itself being rather stock, not the motors. Two lLRP 17.5T x11 cans powered by the matching escs on 2S lipos does a good job. Very silent, smooth and throttle-responsive, especially since the xr10´s trannys are so quiet to start out with. Uli | |

Now having run a couple of packs with the original lid on it I must say it(before i painted it and posted pictures I had the old crowd-pleaser on it) works quite well. At first i was concerned that recoverys with a flipped over rig would probably be a hassle due to the large scoop on the roof, but no problem! The only thing i haven´t figured out yet is how to deal with the bodymounts, because this thing really eats up the bodyclips. I lost a bunch of them already... Uli |

Try this body mount. It's the best thing going since sliced bread. There are a couple types to choose from. Gunnar's Body Mounts: Gunnar's Body Mounts |

Some machining in the right spots makes pretty things fit. I thought I wouldn´t be able to use those anymore, but here are my favourite rims on my new favorite truck: --> makes the front 275mm wide and berg rims with the rc4wd-rubber: --> makes the front 270mm wide Both sets of rims have seen the lathe, so those are no stock rim measurements. did some setup... I used the kit dual stage pistons in the big bores. just drilled them wider. after running 50wt all around i switched back to 30wt in the front, since it felt too stiff. The steering mod is pretty much like the ones around, but I used the stock aluminum plates on the knuckles from two axles. Not zero ackerman but a little better. Little more steering now: This is not supposed to show my sucky soldering but a possibility how to tuck away a sensor cable: I used the long axial shock rodends on the big bores, so by adjusting the shock towers by one hole the rod-end mod ain´t necessary: making room for mattins titanium high clearance links with AX10 rodends: |
