Christian, on the Easton arrow shafts... are there different diameters? I can't find that info listed anywhere on the Easton site or anywhere else on the web. Do you have the shaft number, is it a 1514?

.... Of course
...and you are using ~6.0 mm shafts with ~0.35 wall?
Same thing for the rear uppers, or ~4.75 mm 7075?

just because some mail requests , the plates can be made from woven carbon too , delrin or lexan will work too for the cap

my choice is the uni carbon for the plates , itīs just stronger than the woven hereīs a link to a comparison Uni-Directional Vs. Woven | Oribi Manufacturing

the polyamide for the cap because the impact strength and abrasion resistance

Just to be clear, are the 1413 Jazz full length in the 1614 Eclipse? So the rear lowers are in effect double wall? Are you gluing Ti 4 mm thread inserts in each end? Glue with Loctite retaining compound or some sort of epoxy?

yes, full length double walled for the rear lowers

i used 7075 M4 socket head cap screws , head turned down to 4.9mm and cutted M5 outside thread
the ID of the 1413 fits perfect for M5 thread , i use thread forming taps because it didnīt cut the grain flow , a thread cutting tap will work too

the rear uppers are slightly pressed in a triangular form like i did here a tuber
M5 formed in and so on

i used high strength Loctite for the threads

I have a bunch of CF and alloy arrow shafts That I have plans to make links with as well! Just when you think an idea is original someone is or has been on top of it already!

Cheers mate! This is such an interesting thread to read going back 5 years and to see the changes to the scene. It seems so suttle in the moment but when you look at the larger picture the changes are really interesting!

Earlier on someone was said to be telling you your +5 lb rig was "lightweight"

Very curious about the internally splined "spools" that you used for the axle builds, and also the splined axle shafts. Were those something that you made or are they an available part from an outside vendor?
