i run it 2-3 months , first with stock knuckles ,last 4 weeks with the VP ones
works great for me:mrgreen:

drawbacks, you have to cut the stock servo mount
and you need to add 3mm spacers between servo plate and mounts if you run the shocks on the axle

Good work on the servo...the wheel weights look good too. How much weight do they add and when can I place my order? "thumbsup"

the knuckle weights are 80 gramm ea.
i will try some tungsten alloy weights next time:lmao:

ittybitty 01-25-2011 08:22 AM

Tungsten...that'd be just about as heavy as you could get in a small package. My wedding ring is Tungsten and weighs 15g so if you actually were able to put that much of it together in one piece it'd be crazy heavy. You might have some problems with your drill bits though...hell...good luck threading it too! :lmao:

My knuckles have tungsten weights in them and it works out well. Cutting the stuff is a royal hastle but the work is worth it. A 1" length of 0.375 weighs 1oz. Serious gravity.

ittybitty 01-26-2011 09:07 AM

Yeah I saw those...but still not sure how drilling and tapping would work out if at all.

EGRESSor 01-31-2011 01:26 AM
