motorman1600 09-07-2010 10:08 PM

what I want to see!

Here is what the XR10 needs and you are the guy to do it.
#1 New trans plate that can accommodate larger bearings. 5x10x2.5 can handle 3x the load as the 5x8x2.5
#2 high strength gear set along with a new housing end cap that also holds larger bearings.
#3 High strength axles.

If you don't do it, someone else surely will.

ManiacMagoo 09-07-2010 10:24 PM

I think to add to his list is a clockable servo plate so when the axles are fully clocked the servo isn't leaning forward as bad.

adamargue 09-07-2010 10:25 PM

That's cool man I have been wondering how long it would take for the first one to pop up. I allready have plans for my own

EGRESSor 09-08-2010 01:50 AM

the wheels for it

http://i29.servimg.com/u/f29/11/99/05/64/cimg1314.jpg

plates are stainless steel ,3mm
hubs made of 7075 alu
inner ring 6061
outer ring is delrin

not really lightweight but it should work

I LIKE IT!!! good job

EGRESSor 09-16-2010 01:51 AM

iīm very impressed after 3 hours of runtime
this rig performs damn cool8)

i run it without any additional weights

http://i29.servimg.com/u/f29/11/99/05/64/cimg1332.jpg

it easy climbs steep walls and flies from rock to rock
and nothing is broken after alotof hard binds

i totally forgot to take some action pics

but that was the area

guidetti_angelo 09-16-2010 02:45 AM

compliments from Italy!!!

thank you:mrgreen:

Jake sent me some Losi oversize memorys for the front tires and some non memory foams for the rear
they work perfect"thumbsup"

guidetti_angelo 09-16-2010 03:58 AM

i also bought a set of oversized losi memory but with berg axles and weight addes to wheels they droop too much, now i have on the way a new set of nova foams with memory outer and i plan to reduce weight of my berg axles by lathe..

EGRESSor 09-16-2010 05:41 AM

the Losi foams are perfect for my narrow rims , they are 15mm ~.6" between the rings

guidetti_angelo 09-16-2010 06:32 AM

i'm curious to see it on the rocks, post one video :)
