Sweet a bully guy that knows what it means to have an unbreakable rig. Looking forward to hearing your feedback on strength compared to ur old setup. I don't want to change my driving style too much when I get mine lol

Just my thoughts exactly. I have to admit that I'm a bit skeptical after assembling the axels. The plastic just don't give that bulletproof feel

My lightweight Bully axels and V6 XVD has taken A LOT of beating and just brushed it off every single time.

I will probably drive a bit more careful in the beginning nervous of breaking something

Here you go

With VP SLW V3 and Losi Boss Claws stuffed with Nova 5.25" Double Deuce foam.

Mandatory flex shot:

A better view of the geometry:

Total weight RTR with 136g added to each front wheel. No extra weight in the rears.

sKinz and panels will add app. 50-60g.

I actually have a second XR10 sitting in its box serving duty as parts back-up for now

Will be ordering the beefed up transmission gears and VP knuckles + C-hubs as soon as they are available.

Sweet Crawler. I knew it wouldn't be long before someone threw them axles on the T1E chassis. I've been thinking that's what I wanted to do from the start

Let us know how it does, i'm sure it'll be great!

Thanks guys

After running this chassis on my Bully this year I just had to see how these axles compared.

First impression are good. Not great.....yet.
Need some fine tuning and quite possibly MORE weight (up front).
Ran 3 courses in round 3 of the championship yesterday and ended up fifth.
The courses were wet (due to rain earlier) and slippery as h..l.
This comp site is slippery even in the dry and were quite the challenge at times in the wet.
Rig was quite stable and performed OKAY on the choice of tires for the day, Rover EX and Boss Claws.
I'll go out today and test at our local spot with some different weights and tires and see if I can get this thing as dialed as my Bully Moonbuggy

A few from yesterday:

Thanks

And building R/C vehicles for 25 years + does make up for some trial and error

They actually do quite well under wet conditions, BUT they do need to stay clean to work properly.
As soon as you pick up dirt they tend to loose traction in the wet.
However they clean out really well with just a little throttle and wheel spin.
First impression is that they are a bit more sensitive to the surface being clean than the others with larger deeper lugs.

This tire is not as versatile as a Sedona or Rover tire but under the right conditions they work REALLY well

I'm running 475 hubs in the front and 600 in the rear.
This puts me at 11.25"ish in the front and 10.75"ish in the rear with Boss Claws on 1" SLW.

I don't like it too narrow.

With this setup I'm almost exactly where my Bully was
