Default krawls XR.....with a dash of y-town please!

i again want to thank all the axial crew with the generous giveaway at AWCC.

my original kit went to my bro who got a jump on me but i am gonna be right behind him with this one

i will be building these axles under one of our new V4 proto's that i have taken just a bit further. it is essentially the same chassis geometry as the car i took 2nd place at nats with, but in a 2 piece version that is friendly to all moa's.

i am not gonna go into too much detail on the building of the axles, i think that has been well established, i will however try to be very informative on setup and other mods that will be done.

here is a teaser pic, so i dont get accused of not posting any pics

Very nice..... So does the V4 gives you couple options to run either bodiless or run with body with cab removed?

now for build specs:

you know the chassis and you know the axles.....

i will be using some nicely built and extremely powerful BROOD crawler motors.

i am thinking the mamba micro pro's with the cases removed and heat shrank.

Hitec 7950 or bigger

trusty 4PK

lunsford titainium links

narrowed Vanquish dirty harry's and slw's

and whatever other cool products come my way

to start with the chassis:

this is how it came from the laser cutter

after going to town with the mill

in this pic you can clearly get the idea of the rear of the car and how the upper cab section flares over the rear shock to prevent the bodiless shock hangup problem.

these things made my H.F. bender go into a corner and cry so the "VIOLATOR" had a stroke of genius and came up with a five minute bender. this thing is awesome....

What? That uber unobtanium Harbor Frieght Bender didn't work??

At least the home made one looks beefy, nice square tubing holding the wheels and post!! I think I made a drive shaft or two out of that before...

Subscribed, gotta learn some tricks from the master for my build-up!!
