Don't worry, I still love my Shaft...ies!! lol :lmao:

My rig will still get used often, there's this great class called sportman, that you actually have to DRIVE in, no crutches allowed!!

It was time, the changes in rigs and course design have made it difficult to stay competitve, no matter how many times I whooped your MOA's arse with my Shafty!! lol Besides, didn't you sell all your rigs and go back racing??

I am sure the will, on my shafty. The TI links that are going on this will be nuts, to get an idea of what mine might look like, take a look at Krawlfreaks XR-10 build thread.

How is the chassis backward? Looks symmetrical to me. Now, the shock mounts can be changed...

DA1378 09-26-2010 09:11 AM

The pictured chassis is backwards.
The easiest way to tell is by the cutouts leading to the shock mounts on the chassis plates. One is more open than the other.
And the longer end goes to the rear :)

yep...you enlightened me! good eye though...i never wouldve known if someone didn't tell me. i went back and checked the manual and there is a "NOTE DIRECTION" page 23!!!

Scottmisfits 09-26-2010 04:34 PM

Don't worry, I did it too. I guess I wasn't paying to much attention to the chassis build. It's fixed now though. Maybe it'll do even better now.
