Default VP Hub sizes

What sizes are people running in general, or what would be a "stock" size? I'll probably be running 1" wheels and Sedonas or Boss Claws.

I don't runn either of the tires but I am sure I could, but with Rovers on DH2's up front I run a 585 hub with one spacer removed from the wheel, and in the rear I run a 1" SLW V4's with a 350 hub, I might go to a 460 hub though.

On the DH 1's the 335's are about the same as stock, in the rear on DH's you could run the narrowest SLW hub to slim up some.

On SLW's 600's are about stock with the 475 being a little slimmer than stock. Seems most with SLW F/R tend to hun narrower hubs (350F/225R).

I run DH's with 335 on front and SLW's with 600 rear and plan on switching to 475's on back.

I'm running 475's on the front and 600's on the rear. I also have Losi hexes and rear width is 10 3/4 " front is right on 11". Hope this helps. Also gained a little more steering. Tires (sedonas) barely touch shocks at full lock

SLW all around

350 front
475 rear

remember.... narrower = less room for knuckle weights..

If you plan to run d-lux knuckle weights then you will need 350-475....and more like 475's then 350's...

All depends on the wheels as to what hubs, I like the DH wheels because you can weight up or down as you like with out ripping down the wheels. For the rocks your gonna run here in Michigan, Sedonas and Rovers work great, Boss claws were the hype over the summer but that faded fast. Most of those guys switched back to Sedonas, seems to be a good choice for the indoor and outdoor courses.

The stock wheels can also be narrowed to 1" very easy, check my Albums. After you do this you can run the stock wheels with the VP knuckles.

I'm running DH 2's w/ 460's up front at 1" wide and v4's w/ 475's in rear at 1" wide. Front track width is 11 1/4" and rear is 10 3/8". Running sedonas with 5.5" C.I. double douces uncut front and rear.

Later,
Farmer
