Bushing mod

OK, I've been told that I should put a flanged bushing in the motor plate. Anyone with any input? I was just going to order a set of the Traxxas 5x8 bushings for now until I get the VP plates and cases, but now I'm not sure if these are the right ones.

I had a problem with blowing out bushings and bearings until i got a set from avid. Haven't had a problem since. "thumbsup"

VP sells the bushings in a kit that include the flanged style...

I just went ahead and got the motor plates from VP. So now all I should have to do is get the unflanged bushings for the cases, right?
