Default Chessmasters Viper

I finaly decided to get an XR10, which was a great choice. Except for the all the money spent on it. Heres a list of everything so far:

Xr10
Underground crawlers viper chassis
Mamba Micro Pro x2
Castle bec
Hitec 7954
Holmes hobbies torque master 45t x2
Futaba 4pl
Zippy 1000 mah 3s
Vp lockouts
Vp motor plates
Homemade servo protector
Rowdy racing battery mount (on its way)

Soon to come is vp dhII's, Vp tran cases, Vp chubs, and Knuckles.

The xr10 is just amazing cant wait to start driving and comping with it.

I like my Ammo can

It looks like a good start, but please, for your own good, ditch those upper links for some aluminum, delrin or ti. It looks like a great list of parts, its time to install em and get it running.

Like the ammo can too.

Yeah I was planing on getting some aluminum links that matched the orange theme Hopefully I will get all the soldering done today and then it will be ready to go once I get the battery mount in. Hows the best way to mount the esc's in the chassis, back to back or one on each side of the frame?

Well, I finaly got everything soldered up and put together. The only thing I am waiting for is my Rowdy racing battery mount and some Vp gear. I cant wait!! I drove it around the house some and it is amazing. Sorry for the somewhat blurry pictures.

Heck Yeah Chess. Your build is looking awesome. I love love the way that Viper chassis looks. What is the C rating of the battery you are using? I need to gat a battery that weighs less and your looks about the right size. Thanks for your reply and again your build looks great. James T.

Thanks for all the compliments. The battery is 15c and it has so far done the job. I really like the way the Viper came out with the carbon. Its amazing how the vinyl carbon fiber looks. Its even better then real carbon at a fraction the cost.

If you like it like that, leave it be, I was just cracking a joke. It kind of has that Killer Alien Drone look to it w/o any side windows. The truck looks really good.

I just love the 4pl. I would say its the best radio on the market for the right price I got one side cut out. It looks better with a window. There was just too much carbon. I will post pictures once I get the other window cut out.

My 4pl was delivered this moroning, I can't wait to get home and check it out. Loooking forward to seeing the progression of your truck, so far it looks like a nice addition to the Viper family.

That looks badass w/ just the front window cut out like that, nice work. Now your driver doesn't have blinders on
