2 screw mode is just the 2 screws going all the way through the housing with lock nuts, instead of just threading into the top housing... right?

ok, here is the mod i was talking about, the first shows a Black bolt, This is where you drill straight through the bottom case, then get a Long screw and insert through the bottom (you dont want the nut on the bottom because it will catch on rocks )then put a nut on top where there used to be a screw. then you drill from the bottom, using a drill that is for a 4-40 screw through the case's and put a small gold 4-40 nut on the other side it ends up between the motor and case. This takes the flex out of the case and keeps the gears Meshed..... Knock on wood going on 5 months with no issues. Last edited by mark reel; 11-24-2011 at 12:51 PM. | |
