My LHS has them for $150 as well. Looks like Axial either has something new up their sleeve or they plan on doing something with this platform.

There $145 locally here!

Yep, they had a price drop recently and should be around $150 most places...including our site "thumbsup"

Losi didn't take over Axial, did they...?

xgerstandtx 11-16-2011 07:05 PM

I saw that RPP has them for 149.99"thumbsup""thumbsup"

I hope/imagine that the reduction in price is a reflection on how many units they have sold. With the higher numbers sold they have met the profit margin they were going for.

I can't see how they would replace the XR10, it may possible to come out with a "pro" version(upgraded gears/plates/links/wheels)

just ideas

Well its a great price but honestly my latest build has about 4 parts that are axial. For a big comp guy the price is still high but for a newbie its a great price and platform to start out in the hobby. I would assume axial is trying to quickly move some inventory because of potentially slow sales? I would love to see an upgraded and full optioned XR10 kit! "thumbsup"

I used a $25 coupon at tower and got one for $134.96 with free shipping!!"thumbsup"

Thats the truth, I wouldn't by the kit when you only need a few parts .

I'm sorry but $150 looks pretty spendy for what your probably going to use out of the kit on a comp truck.
