Default Straight top links?

I see that vanquish makes the aluminum link mounts that "allow for straight top links". Do straight top links improve performance then? Or is it just an option they threw in?

Before the VP link mount, if you wanted to clock your motor back you had to have bent uppers to clear the motor when flexing.

Depending on your chassis set up, bent uppers would hit the chassis cross brace and limit articulation or bind.

Straight links with the VPmount gives you clearance over the motor, under the chassis brace, and gives you a few options for adjusting squat / antisquat.
