Default My old XR Mantis

Well here's what i got so far. Sorry no build pics.

BWD Mantis chassis with topper
XR10 Axles
2 FX-R ESC's
2 55t Tekin motors
XR10 shocks with custom springs
High torque BlueBird servo
JConcept tires on XR10 rims
Dual stick HK 6ch radio

This is the mock up

And this is it now. Works really good. Had it out on the track last night.

More pics to come.

Looking good so far Ray. Is there a comp crawler scene in the Edmonton area?

I would suggest trying some rovers.

The clearance is pretty insane on that chassis.

I almost have mine completed and plan on running it for 2012 season,,,I got to give it a chance!! Anyway, was just curious why you were selling it!!

Thanks

It might just be the picture...but it looks like the POS and NEG connections are VERY close on the FXR in the bottom of the pic...

Just found out the crawler tracj is not being setup this year. And for a place like edmonton there's nowhere else to go for crawling. I would love to get a comp place going but don't have the room to do it. So it's back to focusing on the trails. It really pisses me off that i'm letting it go but if someone would do a garage like Ted's Garage that would be awsome. But no, people up here are not to into serious crawling. Time to move cities i think. LOL

That was fixed right after the pic was taken. All solder removed off both post and redone. They were bought used. I should've taken pics after. Oops my bad.

Ya we need more crawling clubs around here. I'm in Saskatoon and i'm lookin at making some trips to Calgary so I can get to some real comps.

It's not like we have a shortage of rocks around here! Just need more people interested in crawling.
