The hubs look awesome. Thats a good idea to eliminate the hex's.

Me too, i've build two SS Bergs and like them much. BTW my foot is "going" better day by day

Put the servo and the tires on for the first steering test:

Steering is not 70° but quite nice by now:

Did my first cut'n'shut with the BC's. Iwant them a bit smaller, so i cut away one row out of the middle. That gives my a bit more space for servo and battery clearance. I don't now how they will work, but when you think about wide/diameter/weight proportins in a Super Class...

Put a "bit" money in the servo:

The new BLS172HV has the same insane torque as the "old" 157 and is a bit faster.

...to be continued

Greetings Frank

Very nice work man. I narrowed a set of bc's before but never thought they were useful... I might have to dig them out and see what they will do

Thanks, trying by yourself is always the best way to find out what works for you and what not.

Thanks, i'm just collecting thoughts and put them into that thing

BTW, little progress...

CAD says 8g reality 9g:

4 x 9 are 36, so reality wins:

...and tires glued on and mounted:

Pretty cool Franks. Did you just cut them from a chunk of delrin?

Thanks James, no and yes. No for Delrin, they are lathed out of Nylon (PA66) and yes they are cut out of a chunk

Delrin is a to brittle for this thin walls, but Nylon should hold up (i will see soon).
