Here is the "secret" of my spacers:

Two AL "press in" nuts and a AL tube (6mm OD/5.1mm ID). I put a bit of a 2K glue (i know, coward ) on every AL insert and use a parallel vise to push them in.

Where did you get the press in nuts from??
i'd like to make some CF braces for my SA

...more details will come soon

Merry Chrismas to you too (and everybody else)

I narrowed them about 5-6mm and they work realy fine with 3.7 lbs RTR. I'm running BC foams (10mm narrowed) with a "grooved Starcut" in the front.

Greetings Frank

Got some time for little changes:

New cap, not at the 2013 limit (80mm total high):

New none clamping servo arm:

...and new options at the rear link mount:

Wheels are for "winter" testing. I've to wait a bit, cause my new hip needs some more "practice" before i practice.

Greetings Frank

BTW with the unshaved Rovers it's at 4.09 lbs (1855g).

Love the side view of the chassis. Very clean build with a lot of nice little touches.

Thanks. The chopped cap looks cool, for sure, but has a bad rollover behavior So i went back to the "old" one, much better. To get an advantage out of the new rules a completely new chassis construction is what it needs. I'll keep my Fly just as it is

Greetings Frank

Agreed. That's why Jacob and I had not redesigned the Minimal cab prior to release. The low slung cab looks cool, but seems to hamper rollover performance too much.

Truck looks great though. Hopefiully the new bits help you get the most out of her.

And glad to hear you recovery is moving along well

I run a few packs through to see how the fly behaves...

...one thing is for sure, you need a very sensitive trigger finger

I'm running Team Brood 16T CVR amatures in lathed GM EVO4 cans, what should i say, i love this combo a lot

BTW, here's a short MT-4 lever mod instruction:

Step 1:

Drill three 2mm holes inside the right grip and use a sharp carpet knife to cut a small slot.

Step 2:

Remove the green marked screws and open to open the TX.

Step 3:

Use a small screw driver to loose the display cover carefully please!

Step 4:

Remove the trigger and the antenna plug to seperate the to housings.

Step 5:

Remove the trigger unit.

Step 6:

Widen the small slot with a key file to aprox. 2.5x10mm.

Step 7:

Cut of some plastic as shown in the picture.

Step 8:

Put the 3D Joystick potentiometer in the grip and solder the three pins to the three lever potentiometer pins (1 to 1). After soldering you can cut out the lever and remove it (or unsolder before).

Step 9:

Put the two housings together, rescrew them and cut a bit of the rubber grip before you put it back on.

Step 10:

Practice
