Exclamation Are all screws in the kit Hex metric?

I am putting together the XR10 from Axial. Everything is going together perfectly.

But the AXA418 M2.6x25mm Hex Socket Tapping Flat Head and AXA414 M2.6x10mm Hex Socket Tapping Flat Head seem to be extremely easy to stip with my hex tool having a loose fit in the hole. All other screws are a tight hex fit and very robust. But the 2.6 mm's seem to not be metric 1.5mm?

Has anybody had simmular experiences?

What kind of replacements would you guys go for?

Thanks

They are also metric. But the screws aren´t the best.

Perhaps you can use good 2,5 mm screws.

Ore buy Vanquish DH´s and Knuckles.

I've used RCScrewz on other trucks before and they hold up great. Even better, they're actually on the cheaper side of the cost spectrum.

I was lucky because I broke the hex of most of those screws when they were half way, so I could easily remove them with pliers. Axa418 seem made of butter to me. I'm extremely disappointed because it is not easy for me to find a better replacement for them. Somebody told me I need a better allen wrench but I have never had so big problems with my tools before using those damn Axa418.

Bye

The bevel head screws in the rcscrews kit are the wrong angle and will and split the plastic when you try to tighten them down

The 418's for the beadlocks are terrible. They are called 2.6 but I think the 2mm or 1.5mm fit in there quite nicely. I still stripped some of them out though.

There's a tip for the correct size replacement screw in the XR10 tips at the top of the page.

I used a 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0 to put together my kit and had no issues. I'd prefer if they replaced those smaller ones with the same size as the rest of the kit though.

I thought i would ask this here instead of making a new thread. The beadlock screws are complete garbo so i need some better ones. Can someone point me in the right direction? I know someone mentioned the rc screwz but then someone said that they split the plastic plus all my other screws are fine so why buy a whole kit? I just dont know if i should go 1.5 or 2mm or what. I am guessing steel is the way to go correct? Some places or specs would be nice so i know what to get. Thanks
