Battery tray & battery options?

For the XR10, what battery tray and battery options are there? What's the biggest lipo you should use and what trays hold batteries most securely? I wanted to mount it on the front axle.

(Links to buy would be a bonus)

Look in benders for the Rowdy front axle battery mount.

Batteries depend on motors, desired runtime, weight requirements. Go to cheep battery packs. Click on crawler packs. 800-850 for comp trucks. I run 1300 but wish I had 1000mah. Just for farting around run time.

Is 'benders' a section on here?

Are your lipos 2S or 3S? I guess I want good runtime on 45t motors

I don't have the RR mount but from what I've read I think it doesn't work with the stock XR10 wheels though. Just something to bear in mind before you pull the trigger.

The topless mount is nice in that you can use batteries from 350mah on up to 850mah (all 3S) without rubbing the tire including the stock wheels. I have one and it works just fine with any wheel/tire I have.

I mainly run in comps so I use a fresh battery per course. I guess the runtime for an 850 is about 15 to 20 minutes and the 350s are good for about 8 to 10 minutes.
