A search of the XR10 section only showed 2 builds using this servo Any particular reason why more don't run it? It seems to be nicely priced.

Cheapest i saw it with a quick search is $130. Servocity has hitec 7950's for $120. I think people are a lot more comfortable with hitec in general. Can't beat their warranty.

I have had one for a short time now in my XR and it seems to be doing just fine (they are a bit noisey though).

I tried Savox in my buggies and truggies and the first time out with the truggie the gears stripped on a hard tumble and my servo saver wasn't set that tight. Sent it in the next day with the receipt and was denied due to being to rough on the servo. Went back to Hitec and never had a problem with one that wasn't taken care of, I have yet to strip a gear in one but did burn out a motor due to epa's not set properly and told them that and they covered it any way. Sometimes when a deal look's too good to be true, it usually is. lol I will spend the extra money any day for a hitec, I may have gotten a bad one but it's customer service that keep's me comming back and imop Savox dosen't have it and like greener2732 said they are noisey rite out of the package and just get louder with time.

i've never had a problem with savox servos aside from when i spilled nitro fuel on one, but they replaced it anyway. all i currently own are savox servos and i've had about 10 of them in 5 or 6 different kits.

Ya I run a savox in my 1/8th nitro buggy, works just fine, it is significantly louder than my hitec servos though, particularly when at rest and there is mild resistance on the wheels from returning to center.
