Default radio question

I have searched and didnt see anything that would help, but im looking to budget build a xr10, ive been running mrc and ax10, will a futaba 3pl work for the xr10 if I run the single esc and a punk dig, i know I will be giving up functions but until I can start upgrading it I want to use what I have.

Thank you

it should work, I was running an xr with a spektrum dx3e awhile back, you just need a 3rd channel to operate the punk dig, hope this helps, good luck

The 3rd channel has to be 3 position to use a punk dig. You could use a 2 position but you would only have front dig(rear motor on/off only) front always on.

Absolutely you can, but if go with radio hack it and run dual esc, much more control. I have that radio for my xr-10 and use it in my nitros as well.

+1, the LosiKid hacked GT3B would work great. I have used it on my dual FX-r 2.2 Bully, currently trying to get it to work on a M2 dig XR-10. I think it's a bad ESC.
