Default VP Aluminum Axle Top and upper link mount

Just got my order and was wondering if the little piece that goes in the upper link mount needs to be removed?

I am assuming that the bearing that is provided with the axle topper replaces this bearing.

I did do a search but could not find any info on this!

Thanks for the help!

That is correct. Remove the spacer.

The VP upper housing allows the use of a big bearing. So the little reducer piece in the upper link mount needs to be removed. If yours is stuck (which it shouldn't be) try sticking it in the freezer.
