Re: tire rub on springs

im running shocks with the mini t springs with 1' wide vp wheels with 350 hubs and mine just barley touch the shock body at full lock.

How far back is your castor? I currently have mine set 1 step further back than max with unmodded c's and I can't steer sharp enough to even touch the shocks. At max stock castor they would just slightly rub to where it isn't enough to worry about

I'm running full stock set up with no caster adjustments. to get any kind of turning radius the tires rub on the shock springs.

I run my big bores upside down in the front. Let em rub...the springs are out of harms way.

I sort of like the way the springs spin when the tires rub them.

I did that too, until I noticed it was spinning the adjustment collar.

The Losi golds are too loose at the collar to turn them if you have a good o-ring in there. They will spin off the Jeeping spring retainers but who cares they won't go anywhere.
