MOA front axle Shafty rear axle

In an effort to create forward weight bias and still keep the weight low has anyone tried to create a truck with a MOA front axle with a shaft driven rear axle (motor on the chassis). I'm sure the increase in sprung weigh might not be ideal but maybe the forward bias increase would be worth it.

Just seeing what people think.

I just recently started on a xr10s(sportsman). Tying a conventional front axle but with an rc boat flexshaft to the rear...no idea if it will work or how well lol

Hulksta had a similar setup at Nats last year. I think he used a flex drill bit holder tho.

Ok cool. I hadn't heard anything about this direction of idea. I wonder how his worked out?

Wasnt my rig, just a build i did for a friend, the flex drive was his idea and its still driving hard.. currently getting a make over to shed more weight

This one belongs to The crAwLL BLACK. Though it is not front moa to a shaft. It is Dual motor in the chassis with both axles being shaft driven. One hell of a rig and very competitive.

Thanks for the input guys! It might not work out but I'm thinking about a XR10 front and a LCC rear with a flex shaft. with a brushless 17.5 turn motor I should be able to get the wheel speed I need to keep up up with the XR10 on 35T, Maybe!!!

Why not just go full moa.. you get more brake over and if you think about weight placement while building you'll get a good weight balance... i do this in all my builds and on my berg for eg i only needed to add 50g of weight total to the front to get my balance point
