Default Pdog's Special Ops

I don't usually do build threads, but this chassis is so cool I just had to.

Thanks to Nick at T1E and my good friend Justin (Vertec) for working together to redesign one of the best performing chassis on the market today! I've had the chassis for a few weeks now quietly tuning and testing the capabilities. I'm very comfortable with the performance of the Rockshow SS and this chassis has many of the same attributes, but is able to break-over better IMO. The 60/40 bias has taken some time to get used to and learn how to tune, but I'm really liking it.

I want to thank my sponsors T1E, Br00d, TedRockz, and Battlefield R/C. Without you guys I wouldn't be able to compete with a truck this bad-ass.

I still have a little more tuning to do but, I think this will be my Nationals rig. I'ts hard to switch from the old reliable SS, but this truck continues to surprise me.

Specs:

T1E Special Ops Chassis
T1E Titanium Lower Links
Lundsford Upper Links
Br00d Team Vapor Motors 30t
Dlux Wheels Glued
Axial SCX Shocks
MRC Silver Springs Rear
Mini-t Silver Front
Vanquish Aluminum Front and Rear Axle Housings
Vanquish Gear Boxes, Chubs, Lockouts, and Knuckles
RC4WD Gears
Tekin FX-R's smashed on Rowdy Mount
Krawler Koncepts Skins

Nice! How much clearance are you getting at the front of your skid?

4lbs-6oz as it sits. A little heavier than I would like. Still working on that. The VP axle toppers are sexy and strong for sure, but add a little weight. As soon as the Hulk 5mm Ti rear axles are available I'm gonna get some. That should help. I'm also going play around with dropping some knuckle weight also. I have the berg down to 4lbs 1oz. I'm probably going to switch the SS berg over to the Ops chassis also and that will be my light weight rig.

3.5"
I had to limit the shocks internally by 3mm to lower it to that.

T1E has several good offerings. Pick your weapon I'm glad to hear you have the Sniper dialed. Your skins look greatThe green should contrast nicely with the Carbon Fiber.

Yes they are 1/4" Ti. I could probably loose some weight there also.

Ok I'll bite. Why is a black bear the best? I feel like I just set you up for a punchline.

Because bears eat beets. Bears, beets, battlestar gallactica.

As for the 1/4"....I commend you on bending that! I broke two hand benders trying to do that and the 1/4" walked away unscathed. You are more of a man than I am.

Who doesn't love the office. I got the bobble heads, t-shirt, and my very own Dundee award for my birthday last year from my wife.
