Default switch pics

Been learning a lot on here and am finishing up the last of my first real crawler build. Figured I would take a few pictures before I scratch it all up.

I wanted to thank the guys at Chaotic for the good service. I have ordered half a dozen items the last few weeks and their prompt service was great.

Figured I would add the specs:

Front Axle:
Vanquish outer knuckles
Vanquish inner chubs
Vanquish Brass knuckles (not installed yet)
Vanquish HD axles
Vanquish Motor plate
Vanquish transmission case
Vanquish Link mount
RC4wd gears

Rear Axle:
Vanquish lockouts
Vanquish Motor plate
Vanquish transmission case
Vanquish Link mount
RC4wd gears

Electronics:
Holmes Hobbies 45T torque master motors
Novak M2 ESC (soon to be replaced with 2 Mamba Micro pros)
Castle BEC
Hitec HS 7980-TH servo
Robotronics steering arm
Maxamps 100c 430 mAH 3S LIPO

Chassis:
Chaotic Crawlers Switch Carbon
Chaotic Titanium links

Shocks:
Proline power-stroke scaler (also have Traxxas big bores from wickedwolfrc)
Integy type IX 5S wheels
HB Sedona tires with factory foams

They seem to work great. However, I have only been into this for about a months so my experience is very limited. I bought some big bore shocks from wickedwolfrc but the prolines seem to be working just fine so I have not switched them out. I think i will try and get some experience then switch them out to see if I can tell a difference.

Now THAT'S a sexy chassis but....yer cabs on backwards

I tried those Powerstrokes & HATED em. They just felt "off".

What're the wheels you're running? Those Sedonas look HUGE. You may think about a narrowed wheel & smaller foams. Makes a BIG difference but if you're just playin & not comping the rig...just run her & have fun

Thanks for the advice! I have some y-town carbon wheels and boss claws coming that should lighten me up and give me a better tire stance.

OOOooooooooooooo shiny!

i love the looks of that chassi. my wallet hates the looks of that chassi though.

even if you aren't going to comp or if you are.. check out how to shave tires and give it a go if you have a dremel or belt sander. they seem to grab better and hang onto the rocks a lil better.

just a personal opinion.. those rims look more scalerish than comp riggish.

definitely sweet looking

well another guy that likes to see where he is going an not where he has been

he man looks good . you mite want to lower the rear upper link mout a hole at the axle an move it up on hole at the chasis an see if you like it better . thats how most of us are running them. i would try some minit springs up front silver in color an mrc silvers in the rear

looks killer tho an i think its marc that runs that color on his panials as well

I am diggin the backwards cab and would leave it personally. It has that old hot rod look to it and it may help with the rollover recovery!

X2 on running a narrower wheel, I found with the sedonas that they worked decEnt right out Of the bag, then ran like crap, so I shaved the sidewall and the shoulder lugs, and sanded the shit out out of the main tread. They looked worn to hell but hooked up like crazy.
