Thanks Kyle Weight as in the pictures is 1565 grams, it is still without motors and other electronics (ESC's/bec/RX).

I think she is going to come in a bit heavy to "nowaday standards" If I add the motors (+388g), electronics (+60g or more), lipo (+76g) and some panels she will be just over 2100g (4.6 lbs).

[edit] I don't know so I ask the question to all of you: From what weight down a rig is considered to be lightweight ?

I don't think there is a set standard for weight classes but here is what I think the current standards should be:

Featherweight: 3.5-3.99 pounds
Lightweight: 4-4.49 pounds
Welterweight: 4.5-4.99 pounds
Middleweight: 5-5.49 pounds
Light Heavyweight: 5.5-5.99 pounds
Heavyweight: 6+ pounds

Mmmmh ... I think you just nailed it with that list It should be the official ... I like it So I guess there will be dieting after finishing the build and driving "heavy" for a while ...

Thanks Tomy ... but it looks like I am stalling now It always takes me some time to build up some confidence when trying something new like decasing and shrinking my electronics .... guess next update will be bodypanels

So me trying to decase is no problem, but shrinking and soldering everything together nice and tight was not a good plan ... I almost blew it all While I work on my panels someone else is going to take care of my electrical issue's

Next update will be a finished rig

Sneakpeak of the bodypanels ....

For sidepanels I am going to use the CF panels of the SA3.5 chassis kit. I am quite pleased with the result, I think it looks nice and clean.

What a great looking rig! Those body panels are nice, the pattern really sets it off.

Just leave it as is on the shelf, Ronald.

This thing is too beautiful to take out on the rocks.

Thanks everyone Yes I agree Tomi, it would look nice on the shelf ... crawlers are pure Tech-art nowadays .... However it might look even better on the rocks For sure first big hits and scratches will hurt a bit, but eventually build character

Scratches only hurt for a second. Great character builders, though!! Btw truck looks great. I added a few pics to my thread also, with some character bulding scratches!!!
