Nooooooo!............ Switch chassis out of stock! Oh man, no fun... :(
Prepayment sent!
Links, tie rod, an ti sliders on way tho.. give me something to put together till the chassis gets here..
Until then, I played around with some CF..

It's a crazy list to get done, coming soon..
Axles:
Traxxas bushings, 9mm bearing mod, HH motors, motor savers, ordering RR battery mount, electronics mount, servo guard, switch my 7950 in for steering, better drag link, rear vp link mount...
Chaotic tie rod, links, an chassis..
Dlux ti sliders..
Wheels, CF slw covers..
CF panels for the Switch chassis...
Electronics placement an smash, wires shortened..
CRAWL, CRAWL, CRAWL, AND GO CRAWL SOME MORE!

Down the road, look for some boss claws or pins of some sort, dual esc, Airtronics mt-4..

Thanks bro! Can't wait to get them on my wheels... They are mainly for looks to go with my CF skins and for a little protection from abuse for my wheels..

Sweet. What did you cut the CF with? Those turned out nice. Sorry about the chassis being out of stock. I hate waiting on stuff but at least you have something to keep you occupied until it comes in. Keep it up.

Got some crawling in today, as my wife an kids an I went muddin with the 1:1. We had to get the kids out for a small hike. This is what I got before the solder job broke free on the rx wire out of my punk dig..

From bottom to top..

A little taller then the wheel base but dig an a little tire reach an... It sucked the rig right in an off its feet! Then up an over..

Next section was a two parter..

I missed a pic here, but the tires bit in an pulled the rig up bout 14" or so...

Turn the wheels right an pull!

Turn the wheels left.. an pull!

Other spots, I use to crawl here, weren't even worth crawling... It didn't even hesitate up an over.. it was difficult to find some spots that were a challenge like when I was running the creeper.. a bit more skill an technicality involved then.. then again, I haven't had this long enough to find them spots for It.. loven It so far! Can wait for The SWITCH to land on the work bench!

Thanks for uploading all those photos. You have more rock in 1 of your photos than there is in all of north texas! Those are some nice spots to wheel a rig on. What's your foam setup?

Got my wheels put together an did a little crawling today.. just a couple pics of the local dam..

Eric, my foam setup is CI 5.25" closed cell foam an some outer foams from some proline 2 stage foams that were left behind by addicted2rc..
CI is the way to go.. they have been working great!

Thanks Zion... More to come, maybe a quick video of a 18" ledge we crawled today.. it was tricky at first, then fun.. It's way diff then the shafty.

I've likely flown over that spot before, never been there at ground level.

Rig looks great BTW.

Got some love from the mail lady today!

Erik worked with me an I paid for a second set of ti sliders since I was goin to buy at least 4.. so winning 4 made it easy to pay for the other 4, Erik was nice enough to leave the shipping out since he was already shipping. So a whole set for 16$... Shipped! Sounds great to me! Thanks Erik!

Also out of UT, comes the next little tid bit of my build..

Nice an light an can't wait to run them! So..... , while I sat stairin at them...

All done, next! I'm so ready to run them, they may end up on my juice chassis.. they look real close to length..

It was a good day today.. big ole tear down happened.. looked like a axle explosion!
Traxxas bushings, an thanks to Brian, addicted2rc, instead of drilling an using my motor plates, he brought over his 9mm modded motor plates he took out for vp plates..
Swapped out the integy motors for my 45t HH hand wounds, bwd motor savers, vp rear link mount, an my chaotic links... They were real close to my links as is so I threw them on.. then when my chassis gets here, I can just swap in the chassis an do my wiring..

Ordering, new gears for back up, RR battery plate, electronics/motor mount, maybe a servo guard, an jeepindoug mini cups for the scx-10 shocks..

The servo got pulled for my 7950 to go on..

Now back to work to get it all back together an the motors wired up, more to come.

Your wheelbase should be long with those links and that chassis.

Good build thread

Keep up the good work.
