This chassis is a revision to our Chaotic Switch. We love the proven Switch but knew we wanted to take light weight to the limits. We cut away just about everywhere we could while still maintaining a very rigid and durable chassis. Many many hours have gone into the design and testing of this chassis to ensure that is will be a top performer. The skid is a unique one piece design thus eliminating the normal bottom mounting screws and preventing hang ups. All of the spacer and standoffs are drilled and tapped to make installation as simple as possible. We went with 3/16 aluminum spacers to keep the weight down and the strength up.
The most Unique thing about this chassis is the ability to Switch the cab. Just a few simple screws and you now have a completely different look. This should give the end user more options

Hardware:
This chassis is available with Natural color Aluminum, Blue Aluminum or Purple aluminum Hardware.
Black Oxide Hardware also Available.
Note: 2 screws are Black oxide with the Aluminum hardware sets due to unavalability of 25mm aluminum hardware.

Panels:
All of the side panels will come pre bent and ready for paint.

i assume v1 links will work with both of these? might be interested in upgrading my v1 to the smash but hoping i don't have to switch links

It appears to use the same skid T3rry so I think that the links should be direct swap."thumbsup"

Yes the OG links work perfect on the SMASH and the SMASH works Perfect!

Zero disappointment with the chassis. It adds that smile back to ur face an giddy, yes giddy, feeling when you crawl a line that it use to struggle with. Now the skid just grazes, if it touches at all, as you progress on.. :thumbup:

Agreed! This chassis is awesome! Took me to a 1st place at my comp last weekend! As with the OG switch, it took me to my first 1st place back in October. :thumbup:

Chaotic make one sick chassis, no matter which chassis tickles ur throttle finger an urge to crawl!

Dam you chaotic
Seen my brother smash the other day and seen some of the advantages that the smash has over the switch.

Mostly in the belly but it does make a big difference
I guess it might be time to sell the my skinny switch even tho its only 4 months old :(
and get me that new smash :)

Not only is the chassis top notch, the customer service from Marc an Nick is as well and the Team drivers have no problem walking thru any issues or shock an link setup or just chat... :thumbup:
