First comp, the truck ran great. The driver struggled a little.
But when you got 2 of the top drivers in the world setting up courses and running them... it's a little challenging. But hella fun. Finished 3 out of 5 courses, the 2 I didn't finish, timed out trying for the final gates.
Overall great comp with great people, can't wait until next month.

How are you liking the comp cut foams? Running silvers all around now? I know you said the golds were a little soft for your liking.

Sorry for the late reply. Been awhile since I checked here.
So far I haven't notice a huge difference, but they are still in the breaking in stage. I need to practice more with them, but end of November into the holidays keeps me busy. Silvers are still the compound I would go with no matter how you tune your foams...to a degree.

I could say they got me 4th place!


But the next comp... well you know.

Nothing new except some sweet pics and some work needed to be done for the next comp.

Last comp of the season. Ran great at first and fizzled towards then end. Also skipped running a course due to a chance of dunking my rig into the lake. I don't have the funds to fix it before the AZ shootout, plus it was mathematically impossible to gain any positions in the season scores. Waiting to see the final results, but I believe I will finish 6th for the season. Now onto pics.
Trying for a bonus gate gunned it a little too much and almost took out my girl.

Now you're talking! Shorter shocks on all four corners (inverted if possible) and softer foams all the way around. But...making any significant geometry changes this close to AZ without 20 packs of testing prior to teh comp may hurt you more than it helps. The foam change would be a win/win no doubt. I'm sure Crawler Innovations has plenty of goodies in stock.

Wow, been awhile. Just an update due to a friend asking about this rig. The pictures are gone. I deleted my photobucket account because they wanted to charge to post pics. I may have lost most, if not all of these pics. Don't care, because **** that site and I'm not going to spend my free time closing ads every 2 seconds like its the dawn of the internet trying to get back some half ass'd pics. Plus I'm sure many of my other threads or posts will be the same. But this one had a lot of pics and work put into it.
Did I mention **** photobucket.
If anyone has any serious interest in pics to go with the text, I'll gladly try and post them up if I still have the OG's
I miss this site from time to time, but then...I don't....
