NO. But I thank each and every one of our team drivers for the time and effort they have put into testing and reviewing these tires

It's hard for a single person wanting to bring us something new to compete with companies like HB, Proline, and Losi price wise. These tires are made with everybit the quality those big name companies have but do cost more because they are not made by huge names in he business with all the resources that come along with that. Look most of the big companies have bailed on comp crawlers and we need guys like Matt from Ottsix to step up and fill the void, don't complain about big names bailing on us just to complain about new guys trying to help us out. If you can do better by all means do so more options are always a good thing.

Chris

To add to this, I'm looking into offering the Voodoo in a "standard" rubber compound (the same compound that other companies use) along side our custom compounds. It will not be a top performer, but it will still perform well. And, at right around $12 per tire, it'll be competitive with other comp tires already on the market. Again, I'm just now looking into this...it may, or may not happen, we'll see.

Great News!
This news just pimped out my thread.

Some milling video. Nothing crazy, just a simple video.

Good looking Rig Bryce. Not the prettiest knuckle weights for it (love that hole alignment) but the eyeball method has known to be off at times. Luckily gravity is not anal. When time permits some V2's would look much better. Now drive that bad boy!

Now with the knuckle weight bumped up. I'm happy with the more weight up front. The overall weight isn't much more, which I like as well. Changing the foams, hardware, and cutting the body shed some ounces to help out with the front bias plus keep the overall weight low.

Snug fit. No more is going in there.

11" on the nut in the front and just over 10.5" on the rear.

I finally got around to it.

And since you asked about chassis height as well with these tall tires.

It's a little high for my liking. But not by much. My personal max is 3.5". A quarter inch...I'll give it a shot.

Frankenwheely: Is that a mill/lathe combo you are using?

Yes. But you would have to ask SkaldidDog all the details about it.
I just beg and beg until me helps me out.

Nice looking rig you got there...Were the Voodoo's super grippy at Wohlford? Have you had the chance to run them at any other spots here in SD?

My bad, just read your post about sticky icky....

Went foam testing Saturday. Gold with the CI 6 inner med outers need some breaking in. A little bouncy at first, but after a few packs and some time in the sun they were softening up. I'll give it a few more runs to see if this is the set up for me or might switch over to the soft outers to get better results.
Like anything you just need the drive time.

Moving pictures are coming as well.
