Looks like some beautiful crawling grounds!
I believe, if I were to switch from my SMASH.. I would have to test the Reptile out.. its a great looking chassis!

Hi Winnerone23 - yes, the Spot was really nice!! About the reptile - the reptile works very good if you could find the right setup for your driving style.
Perhaps i post up a little video from the last weekend, but my Internet is very slow at the moment.

19g lighter than stock hardned RC4WD final gear and stock axles
16g lighter than stock final and stock axels
14g lighter than light weight hotracing final gear with stock axles
8g lighter than light weight hotracing final gear with my old handmade titanaxle
...light and no lash...

About the way to do i coul't tell you to much, because a friend made them for me. The thing i know it's a titanium tube(Grade 7) combined with M5 titanium axels(grade 5) at the end.

Hey Per Arne - I'm going the small way: Front 275mm, Rear 250mm

The most people don't like it so small and they are a lot of situations it will be better to go more wide. But sometimes it also will be better to go small...

A little late to the show but awesome photos. That ocean spot looks stellar and your build pictures are fantastic.

thanks, Brian. Iīm glad that you like so much

Last Weekend we did have a little comp with 14 drivers. The reptile works fine and i could take the 2th place, but now itīs time to go not any longer the reptile way.

I have to say thanks for all the reptile fans who are always looking in my build tread, posting comments and sending pmīs for question. If somebody have setup problems with the reptile feel free to send pm for question.

Here is a little video which "fritzthefly" took last weekend.
I ended up these course 2 with -23points.

Default ZZR's Reptile

I think some did't understand why i'm changing the not bad working Reptile. Yes, for shure with the right setup it could work fine, but since last year i'm thinking to make my own chassie. I forgot thinking about when i did have seen M_ENERGY's buildtread. I love the design and hole concept from the first minute and i know, when the time is comming, i have to own these collection of great ideas. Now the time was come...

What i got know is:
- enough ground clearence
- the chance to use straight upper's...perhaps carbon
- the chance to go really low without a collession risk to the upper's (chassie is wide and you also did have the help of the awsome BB-Brace)
- the chance to go upsidedown also with Bossclaws
- a very stiff cap but less weight (all together is only 58g with steelhardware(!!!))
- a LOT of capabilitis to find your perfect personally setup(you could fix the cap more to front or rear...like you prefere)
- higher frontshock bracket who gives you more clearence for ESC and front upper's. Good to go low and upsidedown
- the chance to get all what i need for comping from one company(BmachineRC)
- 7075 alu upper's
- Grade 5 titanlower's
- CNC cutted sidepanels
- a not only sold chassie...it was tested and modified from M_ENERGY before...and it works...think about the final of holmes nats 2013...5th place
- awsome details like the BB-Brace
- awsome details like the delrin shocksliders

If i forget something feel free to post...

All parts i got from Bruce are also insomuch perfect quality...really awsome and that's not only words for shure!!!
I also got the chassie totally fixed. That's also a cool service which customer get from BmachineRC! I felt from the first minute that Bruce really wants content customers!!

BIG thanks to M_ENERGY and BmachineRC for the remedy our problems...and also BIG thanks to Bruce for the offer beeing part of the TEAM!!!
