Yes. lol I dunno, I thought it was pretty neat seeing them in the package, they were pretty good.

First thing I needed to do was to rewire my electronics.

Here's what I was working with.
http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/k...psb8906378.jpg

Everything de soldered.
http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/k...ps19c3e25c.jpg

Trying to figure out how to make all that stuff look more neat.

Looks ok.

Heat shrink.

X2.

What a pain. :x

If I were to do it again, I think I would ship them to someone to have them shrink them. I enjoy soldering but when it gets really intricate I have a hard time. For what it is I think it turned out ok.

Shocks! scx10 shocks my friend gave to me, worked out well with my plans for the build.
I found the scx10 tech thread on here and a link to Hulksta's how to and pretty much followed it to a t, so if you've seen it before this will be boring lol.
Here's the link: Crawl ANZ - View topic - Pro rig shock Tech

Looks great buddy!! Just make sure the heat shrink isn't tight enough to push the buttons on the fxr's. Not saying it is but one of them looks pretty tight. Ty

Haha! Thanks man!

I didn't post many pics of the axle because it was pretty much assembled from my previous rig but I forgot there is one thing I wanted to show.
I had my machine tool friend do these for me and I think they turned out stellar!!

Yes, RC4WD gears. I unfortunately did not get before and after weights. The next time I tear the axles down I will be sure to get them on the scale.

What a sweet looking build. I've liked this chassis since the first time I saw it. On the electronics, if you ever do " ship them out", I highly recommend christhebatteryman. He did a smash fir me a few months ago and it is super clean. Good luck wrapping this up and I look forward to hearing how it performs! I may have to get one of these!

I've browsed his thread and he does do very nice work. Either that or some new BR minis.

Yeah he did. I really didn't tell him how I wanted them either, I just showed him some photos and told him to make them lighter.

Drove the truck yesterday, went to a spot I had never been to but only heard great things about and it was awesome! So awesome that I didn't want to put down the radio and pick up the camera. The truck performs well but needs tuning and I need practice lol. I was really impressed with the break over compared to my old rig.

When I got back home from the spot I decided I wasn't done and went to another place right by my house. After about 15 minutes of driving my servo started screaming and grinding, I must have put it in just the right bind or something because it is nice and seized. I suppose it's better it happened where it did than during a comp.

So, I put an order into RPP for a 7950 and some other goodies. Hopefully they arrive before next weekend so I can get out and get some pics and maybe some video! :)

Hey thanks man!

Got my order from RPP. I'll turn some tiny wrenches today and hopefully get up and running. I've never fine turned my FXRs I've just been running on the settings you can adjust with the buttons, and hopefully I can lose some weight with some aluminum rod end balls.
