Default Turbo-s new built of silver shadow comp XR 10

Hi guys,

after my last years fall/winter built of a 1,9 comp crawler based on the Losi MRC I am now starting to build my new comp Rig over the next months.

If someone is interested in the Losi MRC Pro Comp here is the link to the thread: My Mini Comp and the work done to it.

So here's the basic carbon luxury I have already:

Here are the Parts I have already:

VP Stuff:
Front Link Mount
C-Hubs
Knuckles
Rear Lockouts
Motorplate (+bigger Bearings)
Motor Cases (red)

VooDoo Tires (Thanks to ottsix!!!)

Servos:
Hitec Servo 7950
Hitec Servo 7954
Savöx 1268SG
JR DS 8711
Vortex VDS 2015

so I will need to choose one of those servos (advice?)

ESC'S
2 x Sidewinder Micro (with Castle-Link)
+ 1 Castle CC BEC
all nicely smashed together and CC bec matched to 7,4 volts.

Still to come are
  • proline shox 90mm,
  • I can still go for Traxxas BigBore 2660 (got them lying around with Jeeping Doug Cups)
  • Holmes Hobbies Crawlmaster Expert

I will wait for the Holmes Hobbies Motors, but I could start off using those.

For the Radio I have 2 Options, I could go with my hacked Flysky GT3B (if I finally get a hint how to work it with two ESC's (HELP NEEDED) The Flysky was hacked to 6 Channel over 12 months ago, hope I rember how to flash it again....

And I got a Futaba 4PKS from a friend that I can either use or use the cash whatever is the better option (if my FlySky can do the same why change?)

so, I will keep you updated, since I am Father of 3, I will take some time for updates, I am not 16 anymore and won't smash everything together in 2 days.

Hi,

the chassis is made of 2mm carbon fiber hybrid material (added strength). We developed this back here for the comps in Europe (my second base is Germany). It's matched to the up to date 2.2. comp rules. The Base is a white teflon skid plate. The Chassis spacers are POM delrin for light weight. With two aluminium Spacers on the low end (added strength low weight) The Links are all Grade 5 (medical grade) Titanium 5mm with Traxxas Rod Ends. All chassis threads are metric M3. The Links Thread is M4

A lot of testing and research went into this chassis. At the moment a dozen CF black Version run at comps, this one is the first silver one. PN me for more details if you are interested,

The matching wheelset is made of the same materials.

I absolutely love the chassis, looks so sweet. I'm going to keep an eye on this build.

Lovin the silver CF gonna be a real standout.

I would stick with the GT3B and save the cash.
What version of firmware do you have in it at the moment? If you flash it to 061 I have a template for doing the esc mixing I can send ya. pretty straight forward to do.

Hi,

just to give you an idea of what the rig will look like, this is a normal CF version of it.
