Thanks for the kind words.

I made the bends in the .020 lexan with a old lawn mower blade on the base of my drill press. Nothing fancy, if I had a better way I surely would have used it.

Made a second set of panels in yellow. Dont know yet if ill use them or not.

The truck sits at 4lb, 14oz RTR. It was over 6lbs before the rebuild. In the last pic you can see what holes the links and shock are mounted in. I started with the front links in 3 and the rear in 1. After some testing I moved the fronts to 5 and the rears to 4 as seen in the pic. It seemed to help the forward bite. I have C.I. soft tuning rings in the front and they seem to stiff on the lighter setup. Ill be pulling those out later.

Really like the body work!!!
I have mine set in hole 4 for the front and hole 2 in the rear. I seem to have a really good forward bias with those locations. I would get yourself some replacement RPM jato ends. I broke 3 traxxas jato ends in an hour some easier then others. I switched to the rpm ones and haven't had a problem since. Also you can get them in white and make them any color you want.

Really nice rig!!!

It already has the RPM rod ends. Unfortunately I have broken both Traxxas, and RPM Jato ends.

Ya i'm sure the rpm ones aren't bomb proof but noticably tougher the the traxxas. Good catch btw, I didn't notice in the pics just from reading his parts list.

Your right, the best way to stop breaking Jato ends is by eliminating them for Revos.

Updated some of the parts list on the first post.

Waiting on a ROWDY RACING axle mounted battery tray also. Ive used the motor mounted tray before and it was bad ass. I hear the axle mounted tray is the real deal. I put the electronics on the T1E delrin chassis mounted tray, but may end up cutting it off and putting the electronics on the RR motor mount tray.

You know you have full access to anything I make.
If you use a motor mount try not cutting your skid, let the mount lay on the skid with the suspension fully extended, tighten down the mount and go. This will still give a good slick transition from axle to chassis and allow you to get the weight on the front axle, plus if you don't like it you have not ruined your skid. In theory anyway, I plan on trying this with my rig soon.

Thanks for all the compliments on the panels. I had looked at a lot of pics of different side panels and when I saw BTF's great looking panels at ECC it gave my the idea for mine.

Dose anyone know of a wide 5.8mm rod end ball that would take the place of the plastic spacer on the upper links at the chassis?

Every time I move the upper links at the chassis I have to deal with this PITA plastic spacer falling out

After searching some I found these:

Duratrax DTXC6189 are about 10mm wide. I would have to cut them down some.

Or

HPI 86214 are 9mm wide but the ball is centered.

You're right, the rear bed does make it look like a real truck, it's totally effective
