If you put that plate off the other side of the electronics mount, you could sell to the Berg guys too... Hint, cough, cough, hint, hint, cough... Lol..

Not much done .... Gears are going for a diet so gives me a bit of time to work some other things.

Got some snow today though ..... Big snowflakes

Also had to shim my servo out a little so grabbed some scrap and did these.

More work coming this week ..... maybe even some on the truck.

Ooohhh, I like big snow flakes! ;)

Just a thought, towards your "scraps"...
Since the VP servo mount is a known failure point.. Maybe your "scraps" could be bigger and extend down to the lower mounting hole? (I had CF scraps when I ran a XR)

Hmmm interesting, cant say I remember hearing of them breaking there but good to know. Its easy enough to make them do that.

Is the CW Crawlers one stronger or is it more of a design problem?

The CW crawlers one is Awesome! Lol..
It took the need for spacer's out of the equation, as it was thicker.
I felt it made steering crisper and more responsive.
Mine was for a 7980 and never had a issue. It's still on the rocks.
I think 2 of the VP ones broke at World's this year. They where just too thin between the mounting hole and the servo mounting area. Design flaw.

Making a full spacer to cover the whole front will have is benefits and give you a new use for your scraps, as a product to sell.

Thanks for the input ..... if its something people would use then I can do some up. Appreciate the feedback on it.
