I see your problem. You have a brand new set of snap ring pliers but nothing to use them on. Thats a shame, you need somthing bigger. Do 1/5 scale rigs use snap rings? If so thats what you need.

Just doing my part for society. Those damn pliers are what you almost never need but when you do it makes a 10 second job turn into an hour long job complete with sending things into orbit with a screwdriver and finding a needle in a haystack. Possibly even a screwdriver size hole in your finger.

LMAO...Yes it's a spring tool for drum brakes. But I have no idea what the pliers you have are...maybe spring compressor of some sort?

Kleko pliers. There for removal and installation of the spring pins you put several in then weld. Yes I know I missspelled Kleko.

Yea I wouldnt have even tried to spell that one. As you said though dasco, they are in effect a spring compressor. The spring just has a tool around the outside.
