Great choice on 5th D. I love mine. It's realy my first MOA the only thing I have to compare it to is the stock chassis (can you say top heavy) It took a while to get used to the front / rear dig because I'm used to shaftys. It reacts great to tuning mods like changing oil in shocks or different spring weights etc to get it set up. I have my f/r balance set at the front skidplate screw and it does realy well. I just got in to MOA crawling so I'm sure someone with more experience would do things a bit different. The guys in my club think it's a good choice also, so maybe at some point with more practice I may even win some comps. LOL enjoy

If you need any help feel free to post here or my build thread. My Dominator hasnt let me down yet at any big comps, driver choices is usually the fail point lmao.

My build thread should have some good reference info if you need any.

Planning to run with 8 shocks? Great start man, I'll be following this as well. Would love to come and crawl in Cyprus some time.

what overall length should i shoot for since these are slightly shorter than others or isn't this important?

Ill measure my uppers tonight both front and rear.

If those are Dlux links meant for the Dominator then they should be correct length. The only thing I see is the RC4WD rod ends do make them longer. That could be why.

Whats your eye to eye on your thin uppers?

I use Traxxas TRA5355X aluminum hollow balls for all my links, they fit Axial and Traxxas rod ends.

For thin uppers I use those same TRA1942 ones.
