| Haastnooit's YTC Secret Agent 3.5
After gathering parts for over two months, I am finally ready to start my new build ... Progress will be slow as usual .... I am not shooting for a super lightweight rig, but I will see where the parts I got for it will take this rig .... Maybe there will be some dieting when the initial build is finished ... So far I got the rear axle done, here are the specs: Rear Axle Axial XR10 axle case Axial XR10 axle shafts Axial XR10 gears BWD Motor Sav’r NCD CF rear axle brace NCD CF linkmount spacers TRX oilite bushings #3775 VP linkmount VP gearbox VP motorplate VP lockouts Mods: - brass inserts - axle shave - cut Motor Sav’r Weights: Last edited by Haastnooit; 09-09-2012 at 03:15 AM. Thanks Crawlrking Just changed the startpost ... I don't know what happened with the text color, and some of the text disappeared ... guess it has something to do with me copying the text from a dutch bulletinboard. Anyhow I fixed it |

Thanks guys ... I really enjoy building this thing And Tomi, part of the "looking good" is due to the nice parts you aka Nordic Crawler Designs (NCD) made for it .... thanks a lot |

DAMN BRUTHA....ABSOLUTELY KILLER PICS!!! This is almost like a catalog. Nice clean mods & upgrades, sexy CF everywhere, all that black & white. Is it weird that I'm turned on a little? Seriously...this is a VERY clean build thread so far & I'm diggin it. NICE WORK. J.D. |

Correct ... a little more (possible) steering angle and smoother operation throughout the whole cycle. I believe not all sets XR10 universals need the mod, if you do you should probably be able to see some bind marks on the ears. I have two sets running and both needed the mod, however there was a noticable difference between the two .... [edit] Random Hero could you delete the pics from your quote ? Thanks guys You can take your time Douwe .... next job is electronics .... so things will really slow down now. I haven't done a dual ESC setup before, so I have to do a bit of study on that. Offcourse I want to decase and smash it .... will see what comes of that. I also got a new TX for this rig, a Futaba 4PL, so have to learn how to program and bind everything ...... I feel a bit nervous about all this, so I am going to take my time . Any tips are welcome |
