Default Team Berberg's 2.2M SuDu Pro XR10 revival

I have always wanted a MOA, and when I recently came across a SuDu Pro XR10 very cheap I jumped on the deal to get a decent entrance in to the 2.2M class
It has already been built and driven many years here in Norway.
Here it is when I recieved it:

Removed the wheels and that awful aluminium roof panel to get a better view of what I'm working with.
Its got some really nice parts, but its in desperate need of TLC

The axles are pretty well built from my understanding, but I disassembled them to give them a health check, swap bearings and grease them again.

Lets start with rear axle

From my research, these are the specs:
- 2 bolt mod
- CreeperBob titanium axle shafts
- All Axial Machined gears
- Titanium upper shaft
- Traxxas Oilite small bushing (I replaced this with new oilite)
- VP alu transmission housing
- Krazed Builds motorplate and upper link mount
- BWD Blade stiffener
- Axial alu lockouts
- Team Brood Creep 35T motor (I timed it to 0 degrees on the rear. Brushes are OK for now, will need new brushes and comm cut soon)
- Delrin motor protector

Disassembly and check

Back together with new bearings, some new bolts and a thorough clean-up!

Back together with new rod ends (5347 for lower 4mm and 1942 for upper 3mm). Will attend the shocks later

I then proceeded to do the same thing on the front axle,
specs:
- All Axial Machined gears
- Titanium upper shaft
- Traxxas Oilite small bushing (I replaced this with new oilite)
- VP alu transmission housing
- Krazed Builds motorplate
- VP Upper link mount and servo mount
- VP C hubs
- Dlux brass knuckles
- Rowdy Racing battery mount
- Team Brood Creep 35T motor

First of I started by cleaning the really bad knuckles
I removed the slugs inside the knuckles and addifitonal brass ring, as I felt the knuckle provided enough weight itself. I will play around with either Loaded Dice or Pat's weight hanger later on.

After new bearings, grease and a new bottom housing, put together again:

Thank you
Yeah, its had a good bunch of upgrades already

Swapped out the remaining rod ends, and paired it to my MT-4s and took it for a testdrive. Worked awesome!

Made a preliminary roof. Have some KrawlerKonzepts skins on the way

Swapped out the front springs with some Dlux springs and printed lower cups. Changed oil to 15wt. May need supersoft springs here, the compression is alot harder than rear

Clocked back the C hubs more, straigthened out the tie rod and got a good amount more of steering!

Made a set of Skinny Doovers. Made from 1.9 Red Dot Rovers with Voodoo Pin sidewall from some worn out pins.
My first cut'n'shut tires other than narrowing VooDoo's

Swapped out that worn out Bluebird servo for a Futaba CB700

Thank you! I a big fan of using the forum for showing of cars, they tend to get lost in Facebook and Instagram world

Unfortunately I have only had time to do one comp with this rig so far this year, not sure if this link works, but here is a short video:
