Default has anyone done any shock tuning yet ?

Their a little bouncy out of the box from what I've seen . I just got mine and I'm doing the diffs first so I figured it would be a good time to change shock oil or the shock damper. But have no clue where to start.

I've only moved the springs around front to rear and rear to front, next is thicker oil. This weekend will be more tuning. I'm going to start around 40wt front, maybe 70 rear, and move to the 4-5 hole pistons.

I was going to try 35 wt by mixing 40 and 30, just using this calculator for reference

R/C Calculations

My guess is that anything around that should smooth it out like kcljr said, since 10 wt is far too springy.

30 wt has been working just fine. I've tested it through the cow pens and cow pastures and it's a lot more smooth feeling than the 10 wt stock oil in the rear.

So I tested this a few weekends ago, I'm not sure if the outside temp had anything to do with it, but it was way too stiff and slow in the rear. I swapped the fluid back to stock 10wt with the 4 hole piston, put the springs back to stock (soft rear, firm front) and it drove great, and jumped really well.

Next I'm going to try going back to stock 6 piston and 30-40 wt.

I also ordered some springs to cut up and do half springs for a dual rate setup.
