Thanks for all the replies helped us make our decision. We decided to go with the momba monster x and 2200kv motor combo. We are ready to get out and start bashing. Thanks again! |

I'm running the sensored 2200kv mamba monster X on my XL. Lots of upgraded parts so my weight is up there. Rear Spooled and 500k in the front. Still in tuning phase but its a damn nice setup. Everything from bashing, to technical rocky trails and loose hillclimbs. Even on 4s the power is great. It'll spin all 4 wheels on concrete from a 15mph roll. You'll like the motor setup. It took a bit of programming to get the real slow speed setup to work, but the motor and esc seem to have a good compromise window for both low and high speed. |

Gotta still put shocks on, esc and finish building this and by that time im ready to put them on a shelf and not race.. Haha. Okay but really thought we would share havent done much and thanks again for all your help. One more question, what is the best pion tooth to have on the 2200 motor for a 1/8th scale? Pictures forth coming.. Bump.. Last edited by pdxrealtor; 08-21-2017 at 03:04 AM. |
