Also, planning to run this with the Mamba Monster 2 on 4S and 6S

Needed? Probably not. Would it look cool with one...YES!!! It all depends if you plan on altering the gearing on your rig.

I'm in Texas and it hasn't been hot here but there have been some warm days and it never seemed to get hot running at the 8th scale track and running through 6" or so grass. But I am only running 4S, 6S seems to bring on all the carnage and issues it seems so a fan may be needed for running 6S.
