| ![]() Received my Helios RC Conversion pieces and all i can say is wow these are nice. I don't have much 3D printed parts experience but these are very well done and look forward to installing and the durability test. I couldn't imagine the engineering that went into these but very thankful Helios RC ran with the idea. ![]() ![]() Observations: The "Orange" is not quit Orange. It has a lot of white in it that looks closer to an Orange Creamsicle color. I would suspect that the other Colors would be the same so keep that in mind. Once i laid it on the Axle I actually like it. ![]() ![]() ![]() There was plenty of space to mount my servo or a larger servo in the future. ![]() I mounted my servo and was able to crank down the bolts without stripping the holes. Very solid mounting area. ** Being plastic, if you are a Gorilla it will strip just like the stock plastic. ![]() The angled design of the mount allowed for plenty of space for the servo wire grommet. ![]() I think the lighter Orange makes it look a lot better with so much Black. ![]() I started a new job a few weeks ago and time has been very limited but i can't wait to install these. |

Hey I resemble that comment, it is my first time to work with PA 2200 with clumsy, butterfingered gorilla hands this material is tough, it can stand machining process even at 2 mm thickness. | |

Saw this on a 1:1 Cherokee a few years ago and decided to do my Tie and Drag link using Hex rod. ![]() ![]() Come to find out the Front Driveshaft pins are longer than the ID of the Axle tube. Pm discussions with TonyFalken resulted in the need to shave the pins and open up the ID of the tube. Once i get the front bolted up i will cut the Hex rod to length, finish that side and do the Tie Rod. Conversion kit installed and DHawk Drive Shaft installed. I did put a HR Spool in the Diff but forgot to take pics. If the front works out i have one for the back and when i install it i will take pics. ![]() ![]() Definitely no time during the week to continue so next weekend i will work on it and should have a roller by the end of the weekend. Thanks to TonyFalken for sharing his knowledge ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Before you cut the link rod remember to factor in the bends bypassing the diff cover.

| ![]() You can piece it together from Ebay or chop shop like DollarHobbyz. Me? If my build doesn't turn out like i want I figured i needed spare parts for my original YXL so i just bought a roller. That way i have 2 of everything. ![]() |

That's for the kit with AX31089 to AX31225 CVD Dogbone 11x123 1 set correction. For the RTR you need to change AX31259 Front Axle Stub 16 x 39 mm (17 mm Hub) 1 set to AX31220 Universal Joint Axle Shaft 15.5x38mm (2pcs).

I would like to see the progress build on your large scale crawler. I like big scale builds. | ![]() You can ask in the Twin Hammer thread Scale Rigs Brand Specific Tech - Vaterra Twin Hammers at RCCrawler.com. Depending on the rear axle width, you could run a SCX10 axle for example. Too small of a rig for me and too much work for not a lot of gain. Might as well just do a Wraith 1.9 with far less headache and fab time.
