Re: Use the Steering Parts yet? its been talked a lot in other posts. most of us have those parts and they remove a lot of slop and are tougher. |
Re: Use the Steering Parts yet? I bought the steering assembly. Am planning on installing it when kit arrives. I looked on ebay under completed sales and saw quite a few that had sold. Knowing this I "ASSUMED" it was a good upgrade or a needed one. Since I will be assembling from new I figured now was the time to put the good stuff in.:ror: |
Re: Use the Steering Parts yet? Bought the anti thread steel servo arm with aluminium servo horn and gun metal grey steering rack from GPM and yes immediately you will notice better steering control. Way less slop. Also upgraded my servo. Its ridiculous they sell a 700 dollar rig with that weak ass servo. do this too if you already havent.. |
Re: Use the Steering Parts yet? The GPM stuff looks exactly like the DHawk stuff and quite a few of us are running the DHawk steering rack and bell cranks without issue. I also have the DHawk rear lower trailing arms. |
Re: Use the Steering Parts yet? I put the order in last night and it says I will get it mid March so I guess we will see! For now the yeti is down if it takes that long :( |
Re: Use the Steering Parts yet? I orderd and rcvd a but load of aluminum dhawk and GPM parts. I too am waiting for the kit.. Steering bellcranks, mount, and hinge pins Servo arm and turnbuckle Upper and lower link mounts Upper shock mounts Motor mount, spur plate, spur cover Upper and lower skid plate Body post mount Front shock tower I also ordered some fast eddy bearings to install from the get go. Been seeing bearing failures a lot in this forum. Sitting here drooling over these parts is making waiting for the kit real difficult. |
