Default What else should I order with the YXL kit

So after a few years ( Last RC purchase was Savage SS kit ) I am gonna hop back into things and get Yeti XL. I am pretty sure my old Novak T-4 won't cut it so I have a long list of things I need to get. I ordered a RadioLink RC3S with hi voltage receivers to replace my Ko Propo EX-11 . I won't bother asking about motor/ESC because there is plenty of info on here for that. Savox SA1230SG servo will be getting ordered soon. My question is when I place my order with Tower for the kit, what else will I need. I have all my old tools and allen drivers but as far as all the little extra stuff, Im going to assume that I don't have it. Any input will be appreciated

Things I NEED :
Tire glue

My kit is being delivered today!

I have a savox sc1230mg as well set aside for mine, but this servo is a little taller than standard and will require some spacers between the servo and chassis to fit. There is a thread about this on this form

I would also recommend a fast eddy bearing kit. The RTR bearings are not holding up well and causing issues in the drivetrain. Fast Eddy bearings are higer quality and will be much easier to install while building the kit.

Also I have a dhawk Aluminum steering bellcrank and plate to help with steering and durability.

Lastly I would recommend steel pivot balls 3x6.8x8x8mm. the kit and RTR version have plastic pivot balls which wear out quick and create a lot of slop. These pivot balls are available on ebay in quanitity of eight. I ordered three sets so I can use them on the shocks, steering turnbuckles, and rear suspension links.

These parts probably aren't needed but I also ordered the following:

aluminum shock tower
aluminum body post mount
aluminum front brace
Aluminum skid plate
aluminum motor mount
Aluminum spur gear cover
Aluminum upper shock mounts
Aluminum upper link mounts
Aluminum lower link mounts
Aluminum steering posts

I got all of this in titanium color to match the lower link braces included in the kit.

Tire glue. Youll need a lot as there are five, and they are huge.

Front diff outside bearing went taking out the front diff the rear diff also lost some teeth the trans had issues on the shafts where the pin holds the gears were elongating and not allowing the bearings to be removed. So when I called for replacement parts they requested I send it to them for repair. They got it yesterday we'll see how long it takes to come back. Its only been run five time but of course the last time was 6s. I do not recommend running this RC on 6S as I don't think it was designed for that amount of power. Nothing but problems every time I run it we'll see what happens. I do highly suggest anyone upgrade the bearings on this RC. Just my humble $.02.

Can I ask what tire foams are recommended for the stock Yeti XL kit tires?

I don't know what foam is recommended but I will be adding a 2" strip of gorilla tape on the inside to help with ballooning issues a little

Since this thread is about what you should order with Yeti XL kit, it seems like a good place to ask what the recommended durability mods are. Can anyone offer guidance on that topic?

Hot Racing, DHAWK and GPM make most of all the AL upgrade stuff. All found on ebay.
