SOB! Stripped 2 wheels yesterday. I am running only 4S, check my nuts before i run and at least 4x during my run. Couldn't imagine what it would do on 6S. Now i have to bust out my 1st set of MT4G3/Rival Wheels and do the swap.

Love my YXL but so pissed at Axial for such a crappy wheel.

This issue seems to be more and more prevalent as people drive their YXL's. Have any of you with stripped wheels contacted Axial about it? I wonder if we worked together to inform them they'd improve the plastic used and provide a better replacement. I have yet to strip any yet, but as things have progressed, it wouldn't surprise me if it happens.

I stripped one and broke one. I emailed axial and they sent me replacements. I sold them on eBay.

I sent Axial an email with photos and a link to a few threads on the wheel issue. I'm not expecting replacements. I just wanted to give them an FYI from a customer.

Bought 2 sets for less than $25 shipped. Not sure if they include the fake beadlock rings but I'm ok if they didn't.

Edit.. I see they haven't taken the funds from paypal and it's been a couple days. Maybe this isn't a option

Double edit.. I'm stupid. Didn't complete the transaction. They're ordered now

The Thunder Tiger MT4 wheels do not include beadlock rings. You have to buy them separate. Cost is about $8-10 for 4 rings... If you want blue, it's cheaper to buy the Team Associated version of the wheel. I ordered mine from Vortex, it took almost a week to ship the order out...

Emailed and asked when they would have rival wheels in stock and was quoted at least 2 weeks.

That's crazy! I have five sets of orange and two sets of green and they all match. I wonder what the heck happened

First run and stripped one beyond repair and the other slightly so I moved it up front. I put crazy torque on those wheel nuts and used thread lock. I wished I had read this before gluing on those tires. I love the falken tires, great traction. Thinking of going with the rival wheels.

Yeti is a wheel killer. I'm so frustrated I've put it on a shelf after about 8 packs total. Got a set of ruined kit wheels, purchased another set on Ebay because I thought it was my fault they munched (nope), so I have 5 spare junkers and a set of MT4s that are effed.

The beadlocks I purchased in green were also different colors.. Each bag was a slightly different shade... Just put the matching set on same side of truck and no one should be the wiser!

Axial should make a "fix" kit and replace the few pieces that are junk and send 'em out to all the owners so they'd probably actually play with the thing.

/end of rant.

People in that thread are INCREASING punch?? Am I missing something? I run my Leopard / Hobbywing at 50% punch (can't flip it over), no drag and brakes are set at 25% or so. I just read that thread and I am even more confused.
