Got it wired. Used the fuel tank. Tapped into the battery.

Pretty slick to add a hollow fuel cell to the kit - I'm going to use mine to store our scale lunches when we go on site! LOL

What BEC is that? 20 amps is monstrous - me like

Hitec, nothing extreme but I also plan to run a cooling fan off my 2200KV as well as lights so I figured "what the hell", there is plenty of space in the fuel cell. That is YEP from Hobbyking, $17 5v-9v out, up to 50v in. I also used foam two sided tape to hold it and a piece of foam rubber on top to hold it tight and shield from vibrations. I soldered up a BEC bypass, plug the BEC in one side and the servo into the other side with the signal wire running onto the receiver box so no cutting.

I have a 10a BEC running a Holmes Hobbies TrailMaster BLS HV400 Servo @ 8.4v only. I was going to run a second 10a BEC to run my fans and lights at 6v but I have so many wires already. I have them running off my Spectrum RX at 6v through the ECM BEC and it seems to work fine. But I do want motor fans now also. IDK....

I have a 5a Hobbyking BEC because my Savox 1230 will only do up to 6v. But it is 500oz of torque at 6v so it does its job.

I especially like the voltage selection method on these BECs. It only requires the movment of a jumper to select voltage"thumbsup". You don't need "Castle Link" or a PC:ror:.

Yes I like the jumper method, put a small dab of silicone on it to ensure it doesnt come loose (from my heli days) and you are set.
