There a multiple threads on this. I went with the Nyloc to help prevent it coming off again. TowerHobbies.com | Associated Nyloc Wheel Nuts Black (4) Any of the 17 mm wheel nuts you listed should work. |

I have ran these King Headz Flanged Wheel Nut for a while on my RC8Te and they have been problem free. They are a flanged nut which should add some extra support. They use dots vers a serrated edge. I have not had one come loose yet. But I have been lucky with the stock ones so far. I do check mine after each use with a good wrench. ![]() ![]() |

Liking those flanged nuts. Did you use the coarse or fine thread nuts?

Those look very nice. I have found blue loctite to be very effective for me. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk |

This past weekend, I had my flanged nuts come loose. This was the 2nd time it happened. So, I cant say this is a fix for loose nuts. They do support the wheel very well, but I would recommend either a socket wrench when tightening and or center punch the holes a bit deeper to cause a better bight. I think with the wheel being so soft, its tuff for the nut to dig in and stay.
